Wat is een fles bier zonder passend etiket? Vandaar dat de zoektocht naar een mooie en passend etiket iets is waarvan je steeds opnieuw denkt dat het af is terwijl dit in feite niet zo is.
Zo ook de etiketten van Kassuul 
. Ooit gestart met een eenvoudig etiket via een app (aanbevolen als makkelijk en handig) maar waar we al gauw het gevoel hadden dat het een beetje te simpel en te makkelijk was. En waar we vooral onze eigen creativiteit niet in konden uitleven.
Ook was het zo dat we een echt ‘Kassuul’ etiket wilden maken, met centraal het logo van Kassuul en daarrond dan de naam van het bier (met een verwijzing naar de gebruikte gist, hop of ander). Verder moest er uiteraard ook een verwijzing komen naar Kassuul zelf. Tenslotte ook info betreffende de gebruikte ingrediënten, het alcoholpercentage, de botteldatum en de minimale houdbaarheidsdatum van het bier (gezien de toch wel stevige samenstelling van het Kassuulbier standaard op twee jaar).
Na een hele tijd de zelfontworpen, geprinte, geknipte en (met melk*) gekleefde etiketten te hebben gebruikt zijn we nu overgestapt op een volledig nieuw type etiket.
We hebben een ‘visite’ kaartje van Kassuul laten drukken waar we op de achterzijde met een kleefetiket de info van het bier toevoegen. Het kaartje wordt dan met een stukje jutetouw rond de flessenhals gebonden. Dit presenteert volgens ons heel artisanaal en mooi. Het oog wil immers ook wat als een fles op tafel komt voor de vrienden .
Qu’est-ce qu’une bouteille de bière sans étiquette appropriée ? C’est pour cela que la recherche pour une étiquette belle et appropriée est quelque chose qui nous laisse penser que ceci est terminée alors qu’en réalité ce n’est pas du tout le cas.
Ainsi les étiquettes pour la Kassuul . Nous avons commencé avec la création d’une simple étiquette par une application internet (recommandée comme facile et pratique) mais nous avons vite le sentiment que c’était un peu trop simple et facile. Et où nous ne pouvions surtout pas nous adonner à notre propre créativité.
En plus nous voudrions faire une véritable étiquette ‘Kassuul’, avec le logo Kassuul au centre, puis le nom de la bière (avec une référence à la levure, houblon ou autre utilisée). De plus, il devait y avoir une référence internet à Kassuul elle-même. Enfin, des informations sur les ingrédients utilisés, le pourcentage d’alcool, la date de mise en bouteille et la date de gardienage minimale de la bière (vu la composition plutôt solide de la bière Kassuul, standard à deux ans).
Après avoir longtemps utilisé les étiquettes auto-conçues, imprimées, découpées et collées (avec du lait*), nous sommes maintenant passés à un tout nouveau type d’étiquette.
Nous avons fait imprimer une carte « de visite » de Kassuul, où nous avons ajouté les informations sur la bière au verso avec une étiquette adhésive. La carte est ensuite attachée autour du goulot de la bouteille avec un morceau de ficelle de jute. À notre avis, cela présente très artisanale et belle. Après tout, l’œil veut aussi quelque chose quand une bouteille arrive sur la table . Et la petite carte de visite peut se garder comme souvenir à ce bon moment de la dégustation amicale.

Also the labels for Kassul . We started with creating a simple label with use of an internet application (recommended as easy and convenient) but we soon felt that it was a bit too simple and easy. Moreover we could not indulge in our own creativity.
Also we would like to make a real ‘Kassuul’ label, with the Kassuul logo in the center, then the name of the beer (with a reference to the yeast, hops or other ingredients). Furthermore, there had to be an internet reference on it to Kassuul itself. Finally, information on the ingredients used, the percentage of alcohol, the bottling date and the minimum storage date of the beer (given the rather solid composition of Kassuul beer, standard at two years).
After a long time using self-designed, printed, cut and glued (with milk) labels, we have now moved on to a whole new type of label.
We had a Kassuul “visiting” card printed, where we added the beer information on the back with an adhesive label. The card is then tied around the neck of the bottle with a piece of jute twine. In our opinion it’s presenting as very handcrafted and nice. After all, the eye also wants something when a bottle is presented on a table . And the little business card can be kept as a souvenir of this good moment of tasting a beer with friends .
